a.      We start by selecting the most unique samples, full of character and history. Then, we create molds that preserve every crack, check, and indentation from the original beams and stones.

b.     Using our innovative casting techniques, we form each mantel with precision. Finally, our artists hand-paint every piece, achieving a level of realism that brings the material to life.

c.      And because they’re made with Burncrete™, they can be installed closer to heat sources than traditional wood mantels—combining safety with style.

Section 4:  Product Story 1 – Structures/Rustic

a.      The craftsmanship of these beams tells a story—each one carefully cut and placed, a testament to the ingenuity of builders working with nature’s raw beauty.

b.      Hidden from view, Sleeper Beams were the unsung heroes of early architecture, anchoring homes and lives to the steady embrace of the earth. We’ve brought these remarkable specimens into the daylight, allowing everyone to truly appreciate their beauty.

c.      Tobacco barns stand as timeless sentries across the Kentucky landscape, their weathered boards darkened by years of sun and curing smoke. Our Tobacco Barn mantel personifies the strength and perseverance of the family tobacco farmer.  Hand-hewn and sturdy.

d.      In Kentucky, rickhouses rise like cathedrals of bourbon, with barrels stacked high, each cradling liquid gold. As whisky ages, some escapes through evaporation—'The Angels’ Share.' We believe a bit of that share is preserved in our Rickhouse mantel.

e.      Traditionally, hay is stored in a hayloft above the stables to keep the hay close to your horses and out of the weather. Our Hayloft Mantel honors the essential role the hayloft plays in our equestrian heritage.

f.        Many of Kentucky’s log homes have returned to the earth, but the finest among them have become part of our heritage. Today, we honor their legacy with our Farmhouse mantel, a timeless tribute to their enduring spirit.

g.       Early settlers in Kentucky built primitive cabins as temporary shelters to survive the harsh conditions of the frontier. While most of those cabins didn’t withstand the test of time, our Cabin Pine mantel acknowledges their struggle to tame the wilderness and use the resources around them to put down roots.

h.      Dry-stacked stone fences lining the roads and byways in Kentucky are a beautiful testament to the Scotch-Irish farmers’ ingenuity in dealing with the land’s abundant limestone. The stones from a Maysville farm were used to craft our Shadow Roll Stone Fence mantel, continuing a tradition of ingenuity passed down through generations.

i.        In a simpler time, horsepower came with a saddle, and hitching posts or rails kept horses tied and close. The clean lines of our Hitching Post 3-piece surround pay homage to that era of rugged simplicity.
